Aux Power Cable Short

About a week and a half ago, I experienced a total loss of electrical power just as I leveled off at 2000'. There was a powerful electrical smell in the cabin; I saw a puff of smoke go through the...

Anyone with both a cargo pack and lightning strike detector?

I should be adding a cargo pack to my 337G at my next annual and will need to move the Strike Finder antenna. Where is your antenna mounted? Pictures would be nice.

My guess is that it is the T&B test light. I think it is there as not all electric T&B have a power supply indicator.

I've seen the same thing happen with my airplane and asked FlightAware the same question. They replied that the primary reason for the issue is controller data entry, which is then corrected to the...

I had the JB AC on my patrol 337 back in the '70s. Maintenance had to regularly clean the ductwork, at every maintenance interval, as our Gulf Coast environment kept it rather swampy.

Panel Overlay Repair

I think I've found a good way to repair the cracks that develop in the narrow spaces of the overlay, between the flight instruments and/or edges. A 1/8" wooden dowel, cut to the appropriate length...
