Switched to C&D
I was getting a little nervous flying behind a 40 year old fuel-air bomb in continuous ignition.
Also, it was getting harder and harder to find someone who could do the pressure decay test.
Put...

Generally speaking....
Your State law MAY require public-use airports have the name of based aircraft insurance on file. Many airports don't even record it.
That said, there is no audit process or enforcement mechanism,...

Possible explanation - squirt your uplocks
It has been decades, but....
The doors will not close until all the uplock micro switches are all closed (wired in series),
which also turns the UPLOCK light ON.
This makes sure everything cycles...

Needed: Two fuel injectors for TSIO 360A
Continental first said, "Sure, we can ship to you in about a week. Can buy one at a time."
Then they said, 'go through Aviall.'
Aviall couldn't find the number TCM just provided.
Back and forth...

Its all in the curves
The weight of the airplane is 'constant' (at any instant)
That weight W requires an equal amount of lift L to stay aloft
To produce that lift induces a certain amount of drag D
The most efficient...

My take on TCAS vs ADSB vs having both
I think the real question now is,
"Do enough aircraft now have ADS-B out
to become reliably and directly visible to other aircraft,
in areas of no ADS-B ground stations?"
My Ryan is...

I am a private citizen not bound by gov procurement to requirements-only, and a pilot, so at Potomac I went with the Rolls Royce of fuel filters on the end of each dispenser.
Many airports may not...

As an airport owner in the USA
In USA anyways, the AVGAS supply chain is tightly controlled from source to airplane.
Obviously the stuff is manufactured in magical places, then stored regionally in huge large distribution...

So if gauges all fine
If fuel flow restricted...?
As engine spools up fuel flow increases, obviously.
As turbo kicks even, maybe sucking Fuel pump can’t deliver?

Sound like a dead mech fuel pump
The electrical one is fueling the engine, meaning the mechanical one is not.
Mine is turbo, so the fuel adjusts with both altitude and RPM.
My famous drain problem was fuel leaking past the inside...
