If anyone knows of any other 337 CFIs in the southwest, let me know. I have two "students" that need to be trained. I say "students" because they're both ME CFIIs (one is a USAFWS Instructor) but...

I've bought planes before by going directly to the owner. A search of the FAA database will get you the owner's name (if lucky) or more likely an LLC name. It's then just a little bit of google-fu to...

I've been doing some google photos research - it appears that some (maybe all?) F337Gs had hinged pilot windows - I've found more than one. The 337Gs from...

O-2 vs O-2A vs O-2B

I'm trying to find out a little more about the differences between the models...one feature I've noticed is the extension of the pilots window up and towards the skylights. Some planes labeled "O-2A"...

I'm still ROP. I haven't upgraded *anything* yet - I don't have an engine monitor, and I have the plugs, wires & mags that came with it when I bought it 4 months ago. It does run well LOP at 13K or...

I'm not saying this makes sense - it's a poorly written regulation - but it's clear. The "problem" is the FAR's definition of "pressurized aircraft" - it's any aircraft that can fly over 25,000 ft....

ALL aircraft with a ceiling above FL250 require the endorsement. The FARs define a "pressurized aircraft" as an aircraft with a ceiling higher than 25,000 ft. That means all T337s, period.

I'm still...

Does anyone know of a mod or STC to put the O-2A eyebrow windows in a standard skymaster? It would be great to be able to look straight left in a left hand turn.

Both engines were overhauled before the VAR crank AD. I'm guessing that the way to have this plane make sense is to buy it, fly it until you HAVE to open a case, and then part it out. You'd probably...

Depends on the MP. The 337 POHs have an entry for 2200/18" @ 12gph. I don't see why you can't do that with the 336.
