Closing the loop on this project.

The bracket attaches to the inside of the lower, aft bolt that holds the nose gear limit switch bracket.

You might want to inspect those wires from that squat switch in your photo. Mine had the insulation worn away exposing bare wire. I removed the wires to the terminal strip on the left hand side of the nose wheel well, used shrink wrap on each individual wire then used a piece of shrink wrap to encase both wires.
