Location of Temperature Sensor

I have a 1965 Cessna 337 Skymaster. I am trying to install F&M oil filter conversions instead of the oil screens, however, my skymaster seems to have the oil temperature sensors installed in the back of the oil screens. Can anyone tell me if there is an alternate location for these temperature sensors, and possibly include pictures for reference? I have attached a picture of what I currently have. In order to install the oil filter conversion, these have to be relocated as the STC does not include provisions for tapping the end of the oil filter adaptor body to accept these sensors.
