My wires show in the center of the door, right across the piano hinge, then snake down inside the upper door trim past the door lock to the bulb holder. I wired both the overhead MAP light and the courtesy door light to the same power wire from the fuse holder on the firewall. That way I can turn on the map light to see the panel during preflight at night, since the dome light didn’t quite cut it.
You may want to remove the upper door trim, and ceiling panel above copilot seat to gain access to the right wires. |
