Limit switches and battery.
Check the voltage at the switches, check the switches. Frequently referred to problem is that with a low battery charge, or alternators not putting out enough juice, the circuit for the gear doesn't work properly. Second, if the switches are just a little bit out of alignment, it won't work. I'm thinking the switches on the clamshells, because they have to make to tell the little doors to open. Leave the gear down, come up here, Eric will straighten it out.
