Fuel Valve Problem
Maybe it is not a fuel valve problem. Check the vent on that aux. tank. If the vent is blocked you would get that same problem. On some tanks the vent is a small hole in the cap, and a little bee loves plugging that hole with mud or, it could be corrosion at the hole. Check out were the vent is and is it open.
