O-2 Sequel

I just got the cover this morning, and I think my artist did a great job!

The sequel, Hamfist Down!, is available now as a Kindle download at http://www.amazon.com/Hamfist-Down-S...ywords=hamfist

Thanks!

George

Hi George,
I enjoyed Hamfist down and am looking forward to book 3. These are the first books I've ever read on an e-reader. I have a nook color, converted to an android tablet with the kindle software installed and it worked well. The software also worked well on my phone.

Been There books

I have enjoyed your books. There are little details that indicate that in fact you have more than some familiarity with the aircraft.
I enjoy these kinds of books, because they tell the story, cover the period of time, and yet don't have the dryness that seems to infect the non-fiction books about warfare, particularly air combat.
When ever I read one, I am reminded of an author I read a long time ago. The book was called "The Few", and not surprisingly was about the Battle of Britain. I remember turning the book over, and the back of the jacket contained a surprise. A picture of the author, and a little information. Makes you wonder.

Larry -

Thank you for your comments, and for the review you posted on Amazon! It's really been a lot of fun writing these books. I've been living in 1969 for the past several months, and now I'm living in 1972 as I work on Hamfist Over Hanoi.

After my first O-2 tour in Vietnam, I had two additional tours of duty as an O-2 instructor. I ended up with a little over 2500 hours of O-2 time.

Great airplane!

George
