Where is the crack in the case? The overhaul manual specifies what cracks are repairable and what’s not repairable. You can always go with a yellow tag case from preferred air parts and add in a VAR...

Front engine exhaust muffler

I have 2 front engine exhaust mufflers for sale, that I pulled off a 1967 skymaster. These parts are used, and are good for cores at a minimum. $65 each or $120 for both...plus shipping.
