Shimmy damper removal

Who has removed a shimmy damper. Very difficult to reach.
I'm thinking of nose jack, and swing the nose gear up a bit to gain access to rr hardware. Any ideas?

Kim Geyer is an unknown quantity at this point
It is one of the hardest things to do on a skymaster you can get to one of the bolts from the engine bay. Needle nose vice grips are a big help. 6 more inches of arm length and 2 extra fingers on at least one hand would help too!

The first 337 mechanics must have been Hindu

Most people do not realize that those Hindu Goddesses, Durga, Kali, were actually the first 337 mechanics. To them, 337 parts were therefore simple and easy to reach.

Which explains many aspects of the Cessna Skymaster design.
