Messages are prescreened again

Hi folks,

I am afraid the discussion about site moderation or censorship continued to degenerate into namecalling etc.

I am using my editorial discretion to eliminate this subject from the message board. It throws out the baby with the bathwater, but I deleted both threads on this subject in their entirety. This deletes many messages in support of my policy of demanding that people be civil and on topic (Skymasters and O-2s), as well as messages from three folks who complained and some folks who made it clear they were not taking a position. In my opinion, the threads were on the board long enough for everyone to make their position clear. Further discussion is not going to change site policy, and seems to have no other useful purpose.

I have to read all this stuff, and I am tired of it.

All messages sent to the message board will be prescreened. I apologize for the delay this causes to the board. At some point in the future, perhaps we can try removing the prescreening again.
