Alcor EGT probe part number

I'm looking to buy a new Alcor EGT probe for the front engine of my 1973 337E. Does anyone know the Alcor part number? I have the Cessna P/N (C668501-0110) but I can't find a cross reference to the Alcor P/N.

Thanks,
Ernie

The EGT probes have a part number printed on them -- take a look for the ALCOR number. The Cessna part number you mentioned is junk -- I ordered it and all I got was about 25ft of cable, not a probe.

One of our Skymasters uses Alcor P/N 86255 but it has an Alcor system in it. Look at the probe connection and see which wire is the longest, if it is the yellow one, this is your probe. If it is the red wire then your probe P/N is 86275. Cessna systems used a reverse stagger on the leads to keep you buying their stuff.
Hope this helps.
Kim
BTW where's your son working? We're working in centeral Wa.

Thanks, Kim. Charlie works out of Idaho City, Idaho, but gets sent everywhere, so I don't know if he's been to WA recently.

Yep. For about 5 years. He was in heli-attack (rapelling from helicopters) for a couple of years, he's now in Idaho City's Hotshot crew (group leader).

Thanks. That's what I'm doing but I needed the correct ALCOR part number. I got it off the probe in the other engine, already bought it and I'm about to install.
