Oil Temperature Sender Depth

Anyone know what the max depth primary oil sender can be? We're installing a GI 275 EIS system and the Garmin installation + interface probes (T3B3-2.5G) are VERY long (2.4in from shoulder to tip). Seems like they will bottom out or hit the oil cooler first.

Those are the senders I used on my IO-360-G engines when I installed my gi-275s.

That’s great news. My engines are still out at overhaul otherwise i would just measure it.
