Need new rear boost pump

Rear Aux/boost pump has gone inop, Any suggestions for place to get a replacement? Is yellow tagged OK or willI have to buy new? Thanks for any suggestions.

Cessna parts dealers can get them, make sure you tell them rebuilt or overhauled. it will be about 1/3 the price of new. There are several place that will overhaul them. Quality Aircraft Accessories is one. The Aviation Group is another. Both do very good work and will usually get the pump back to you in a couple of days.

If memory serves me, Performance Airparts in Oklahoma is where I sent my unit. I ended up having to buy a new one.

My pump burnt up because of too little voltage in Low Speed. Easy varible resister adjustment.

If you have a new one on, I'd suggest checking the voltage in low speed. All the particulars are located in the service manual.
