Headrests for a D model

Hello,
I’m wondering if anyone has installed headrests in the front two seats.
I see the apparent locations on top of the backrests but not sure you can actually
install them there or there is mod for it.
Any ideas would be appreciated.
Allen

Yes, I had headrests installed. The shop said it was easy.

CenterlineT,
This is possible but expensive and involved if you currently do not have detachable head rests. Take one to your local upholstery shop and ask them what would cost for the seats you want modified. If the holes are already on top, it should be a piece of cake. This guy sells the metal frame

Last year during covid when i had time, i stitched up my own seats. Trust me, its A LOT of work to make changes or new. I couldve made the headrests separate but i decided to make them part of the seats.

Jhogan0101, your seats look great with the headrests. I will lookup the frame you mentioned. Thanks again

Bjorn, Did you have the headrests or the shop made them?

We purchased the headrests from a salvage yard and had the shop restore and recover them to match our interior. Very happy with the result.
