Any experience flying with w pssgr side window open?

Anyone tried opening the passenger side window in flight for ventilation?

Will it come flying off and into the rear prop, or just hang there?

Years ago I asked Cessna. Maybe it was Chris Ives, but not sure.

As I recall he said, "He wasn't sure."
"That it was the same as in the C210 which could be opened up to 160 (????) or something."

Anyone fly with passenger side window open?

The O2's have a crank out window, yep a window crank like a 68 Camaro, and was good for flight at 90 degrees from the door. I don't think Cessna ever expected anyone to fly around with the door window open in flight. I do not recall seeing anything that says you can't but there is nothing about the option during flight.

Put an O2 door on your bird and then hey, crank it on out at 9,000 feet

During our flight back from Baja to Nogales between the mountains we hit some turbulence and the window popped open at about 160kts. pulled the power back, pulled the nose up....slowly mind you....and was able to get it relatched.
Having said this my first thought was "REAR PROP" and the things we don't want going thru it. Buy a cabin cooler and leave the latch locked. my 2 cents.
