You will be limited to CLT if the plane does not have a published VMC. You can have the limitation removed by taking another check ride in a "regular" twin and do a few maneuvers. On the Airman Certification Standards there is a list for what needs to be done to remove the CLT rating. it is in Appendix 7 I believe.
The above assumes that you do not already have a multi-engine rating. If you already have one and want to get the instrument add on, I assume that it is about the same as you need to do a single engine approach as part of that work. |

Here is the ACS information. You do need to do the IFR in a regular twin, but here is the list of things you need to do to remove that limitation
