1600 hour TBO???

I was checking IO-360 pricing on TCM's website, and I noticed they now list all variants, including the TSIO-360 as having a 1600 hour TBO. Does this mean we now have a 1600 hour TBO instead of the original 1400 hours? Its meaningless for most part 91 operators, but part 135 guys like Kim could surely benefit from the extra time. May also help the value of the fleet a little bit because 1400 hours was always a crappy TBO interval.

Kim Geyer is an unknown quantity at this point
I haven’t looked lately but it use to be the model had to have a B in it, ie TSIO360HB or after a certain serial number and only applied to factory engines. 200 hrs. Does help a lot and sometimes our FAA PMI would give us a 10% extension. Money in the bank!

1600 hrs x 110% = 1760 hrs TBO. Not too shabby Kim!
