Learning Curve for mechanics on P337

What is everyones experience taking these to mechanics that dont have experience working on these?
Are they just automatically doubling the bill?
Mistakes made at owners expense?
I did some asking around and no one near me works on these planes (KDYL)

general is an unknown quantity at this point
Everything you said is about right$$$. Plus you have to take all the typical verbal abuse with all the name calling, like Huff and Puff, Suck and Blow, Push me Pull me, Heat the Rear, SkyDisaster, Mix Master, and a long lecture on how the back engine is always running hot and how hard everything is to work on!!! I could go on and on but I won't. When you do find somebody that appreciates how much easier it is to work on than what they thought, Keep that Guy.

Positive experience

My experiences so far is that if you find someone who isn't anti-Skymaster, they don't have too much trouble (and thus not extra learning at your expense). Many of the systems are just like those of a 210 -- in fact, I call our Skymaster "it's a 210 with an extra engine in the luggage compartment".
