De-ice boot options

So, I upgraded my panel to remove all gyros, have g500txi and g5. Gad43e, etc. So I do not need vacuum systems for anything other than the de-ice boots. So they run all the time. taking power from the engine, and providing no benefit, except when you need them. The question is has anyone come up with an alternative method to drive the boots, maybe a electric pump, just wondering, may not be feasible, but seems logical.

Thoughts?

There may be a backup electric system that is STC'd for the Skymaster but I don't know of any alternate system to completely eliminate the vac pumps for boots. The problem has always been that there is NO audience to entice suppliers / manufacturers to develop systems for our 337's. If we had a fleet like Bonanza's with owners willing to spend money on their airplanes the market would justify such options.
