Cool GMAs... Mixture control stop on fuel pump.

GMAs, any advice on the stop pin Re: mixture control on the fuel pump as far as keeping it in place. Was o/h in 99, talked to them this am. Romulus MI. said to check housing for cracks, they say they sometimes use red loctite, did not see any traces of it.... Guy.... old72driver....

Unhappy Interesting.. I thought we had heard it all... but,....

this is intersting... I send a quree to cont engine as to what to do.. and as soon as I get it back I will pass it along... just wanted to let you know I did read your message... but, the pin actually backed out of its hole ... hmmmm interesting... G.M>GMAs

Cool Stop pin.......

Thanks GMAs, yes it backed out somewhere in cruise. must have been moving for some time. It got to a position where it was a new stop well lean of full rich and would not allow the mixture control to move forward at all. Guy....old72driver....
