Rear Governor and Synchrophaser Overhaul

I need to have my rear governor and synchrophaser overhauled. The plane is a 1977 G, but it has the updated synchrophaser as shown in the repair manual for models with serial numbers greater than 1816.

The synchrophaser motor gear teeth are now uneven, and the potentiometer shaft is somewhat loose, also causing the gear on the end of that shaft to have warn teeth.

Any recommendations on a quality shop to overhaul this? I have searched the forums, but the data is pretty dated.

Thank you in advance for your recommendations.

Kevin

QAA is awesome. https://www.qaa.com/

If you have an unfeathering valve it may be a considerable wait because that valve is only made by one guy in the nation. Call before sending. Otherwise good turn around time.

I don’t have an accumulator so I’m guessing there is no unfeathering valve. I do need some parts on the synchro slave unit replaced. That seems to be the issue with overhaul facilities.
