Engines (two) Stopage In Flight

NOW THAT I HAVE STOPED SHAKING... LAST SUNDAY, RIGHT AFTER TAKE OFF I MADE A CLIMBING TURN TO THE LEFT, AT ABOUT 1800 FT, FRONT ENGINE QUIT FOLLOWED BU THE REAR ENGINE. i COULD NOT GET THE FRONT ENGINE TO RE-START, BUT I WAS ABLE TO RE-START THE REAR (SURGING UP AND DOWN). PUSH THE NOSE BACK TO THE RUNWAY AND MADE BACK TO THE AIRPORT.
1/4 MILE FINAL REAR ENGINE WENT SOUTH FOR GOOD, GOT THE MAINS ROLLING ON THE GRASS AND LANDED FINE.
I TRIED THE BOOSTER PUMPS ON ON THE GROUND AND I HAVE NO FUEL FLOW AT ALL.
I FIGURE THE VENTS ARE PLUGED OR SOME SEVERE JUNK IS THE FUEL.
AIRPLANE JUST CAME OUT OF ANNUAL AND I HAVE FLOWN IT THE WEEK BEFORE.
TIE IT DOWN AND WENT HOME (I WAS SICK FOR TWO DAYS)
EMERGENCY PROCEDURES ARE VERY DIFEERENT WHEN THE REAL DEAL HAPPENS.
ANY COMENTS?

I know your excited but...

it doesn't do much good to say the engine quit... when we don't know the year and model... ???? maybe a N no would be nice so we could go look up the system for your plane... ???

Ernie Martin is an unknown quantity at this point
Two things.

First, we're all happy you made it back safely.

Second, probably the most dangerous flight is the one you make after the aircraft has been serviced. Be especially mindful of pre-flight checks.

Mr. GAMS
The aircraft is a 1966 337A with the Horton stol
kit.
I have not had the time to find out what happen,
But I just want to emphasize to all the need to
be in tune with the aircraft, training, and to be
very careful with the preflight and check list.
and don't skip on maintanance.
As soon as I find out what caused, I will post in here.
P.S. Remember...practice emergencys and them
practice some more.

What Happened

Did you ever find out what caused the stoppages?
I just got mine out of a very thorough annual, which i partcipated in extensively, and it has never flown better.

ENGINES QUIT IN FLIGHT

The cause has been found.....
My home base have a self serve fuel tank. Two weeks prior I had the tanks full, and tied the airplane down. On the day in question, I did not visually check the tanks, (The gauges are not reliable).
When we were checking to find the cause, there cames our friendly sherif (My IA also works for them).
You guys are not thinking aboot going flying are you? he asked,
and I say why not? Because you'll need gas, he says...
To make a long story short., the race cars also use aviation gas, and the pump din't work, they just suck the gas out of the airplanes.
I know I should have checked the gas visually, but I did not.
It is in my check list now.
P.S. They have not been found.
