gear door issue

Flying along today and noticed no orange gear up light on the panel. I looked out the right side and sure enough the main gear door was still open. Maybe the left side too as I was unable to see that side. The gear door mod. was done so there are no rear gear doors just the ones on the side of the plane. Tried to cycle a few times but still no success. Lots of fluid in the reservoir.
Anyone else had a similar experience and fix?
Thanks,
Gord

it was a birds nest in the front gear bay. It was packed with so much straw and crap the gear could not retract.

Amazing. Pre-flight stuff. I once had nest built in the front cowl and was only parked 2 days. I could not believe that those little guys could do that much work in that time. Luckily when I opened the oil service door I saw the weeds.

I find myself doing a much more thorough inspection when the bird has been left out with the birds
