Spinner Bulkhead (Backplate)

McFarlane Aviation just received FAA-PMA for a drastically improved 337 rear spinner bulkhead. We have found that most all of them in service are cracked around the attachment holes if you look close (you have to remove it from the prop to find the cracks). The new PMA spinner is made from heat treated aluminum with twice the thickness in the critical areas and balanced to less than 2 grams. 15 times more resistant to fatigue stress cracking. Kit includes a pressure plate at the attachment for more strength. Log book entry only. Less than 1/2 the cost of the Cessna original that will crack again. www.mcfarlaneaviation.com ask for Dave for details. New product; they are not in our catalog or on the website yet. 785.594.2741
