336 steering Problem

My steering is very poor on my 336. I have a hard time staying on the pavement when turning around. My runway is 45' wide and wider at the turnaround areas at the ends. I suspect the bungee, but don't know how to test it.

Hi Kevin
Could you explain what exactly is happening when you turn around please. I am not familiar with the steering mechanism on the 336. It is very different from the 337 so most users of the forum have no experience with the 336. Could you post a diagram of the steering from your service manual, that may help too?

336 steering problem

I have identical problem as the one listed. However I believe that turning to the left is worst. Does anyone have a diagram of the steering bungee to take it apart to fix it? Thanks a million. Alfonso.
