As for the noise, I don't think my Skymaster is any noisier than "conventional" twins I've flown (used to own a Twin Comanche and have spent some time in Senecas).

I always recommend a noise-cancelling headset, anyway, because just about every GA plane has noise levels that will damage your hearing permanently. The more time you spend, the worse it will be. The difference between 90db and 92 db, while definitely measurable (that stuff is logarithmic), but it will still damage your hearing in the same general way.

(For that matter I wouldn't fly a single without a noise-c. headset for all the same reasons.)
