Looking for some help...

Is there anyone in the Dallas/Fort worth (or surrounding areas) that might help me to help my son scratch of the number one item on his bucket list...that being a ride in a Skymaster.

I am trying to set this up for 10 March. My 68th birthday and two days after his 41st.

I am willing to pay the operating costs for the aircraft and the pilots time.

Hell...I'll even throw in dinner at a nice restaurant in order to help my son get such a ride and to discuss the finer points of this beautiful aircraft.

If anyone is interested in making a young man's fantasy a reality please contact me through this forum or e-mail me direct at texasnative310@yahoo.com.

Thank you for your kind consideration.

Respectfully
James E. Griffin

337 Flight

Mr. Griffin,
I’m flying down to the Dallas area in early August and would be happy to take and your son on a flight if you haven’t before then. I have a ‘68 337C. It’s not the most exciting/technological example out there but it gets flown quite a lot. Let me know if I can help.

Looking for some help...

Sir...

I was about to give up hope when I received your response.

August will be fine if you still plan on being in the Dallas area. I cannot wait to see his face when we meet you and he realizes he is about to ride in our favorite aircraft.

I'd like to ask a couple of questions if I may...

First off what is the hourly operating costs on your aircraft?

And Secondly, what is your favorite restaurant.

And lastly, will you be able to spend some time so that we might discuss the finer qualities of this unique aircraft and allow us to shoot some pictures of you and your wonderful ride (if you have some pictures of your Skymaster, we'd love to see them).

I am forever in your debt for responding to my Thread Post and looking forward to meeting you this summer.

This will be a unique birthday gift and I thank you so very much for your offer.

If possible please stay in touch with me as we get a littler deeper into the year through my personal E-mail, texasnative310@yahoo.com.

Again, my undying thanks.

By the way...everyone calls me Butch...my son is Kristoffer.

I look forward to communicating with you over the next seven months or so.

Respectfully:

James E. (Butch) Griffin
