1965 337 tach overhaul

Hi, I had a needle sticking in the electric tach on our 1965 337. Anyone know of a good shop to have it checked? Tried Instruments Inc. but he does not work on this model.

Thanks;

Brian

Are you sure it the tach. Try reversing wires from front to back and see if you still have the same problems . Could be wiring

Frank, yes the mechanic and I did that first. Ended up taking the tach out and banging it and it then worked. I would still like to get it overhauled. I called Rudy Instruments in Rudy Arkansas and it turns out they can overhaul it. Thank goodness. They just rebuilt my AI at a reasonable price and it works great.

Cheers;

Brian
