Interesting wing tips for a '67, they look like the later model light bay type tips.

The wing tips are a requirement of the Horton Kit/STC.

Not with that type of recessed lights that I have ever seen. I have had two Skymasters with Horton and I have not seen this type of tip.

That may be true, but I have personally installed three Horton Kits on 336/337's, and it is written into the instruction sheet. The tips are not provided in the kits, but the conical tips are a requirement. Face it, there are a few mechs that are lazy, or will not tell the owner the whole requirement because the cost will go up, or owners not willing to install the conical tips, for what ever reason.
