Fuel pressure/mixture adjustment near Philadelphia

Anyone know of a shop near KPNE that can adjust mixture/fuel pressure settings? My mixture handles are quite far apart on same settings.

Did that happen all of a sudden or has it been like that for awhile? Linkage under the cowling look right? Does control cable look secured?

When you adjust mixture, it moves a lever on the fuel pump. It would be interesting to see if setting the mixtures to a sample position you’ve experienced in flight, results in a position of the fuel pump levers that match. If so, a linkage problem. If not, pump adjustment may be in order. Continental has a procedure for that.

mixtures

With that much of a spread on the mixture knobs, I am guessing the linkages (where the cable attaches to the mixture handle in the pedestal) needs to be moved to a different hole. Sounds easy, but sometimes takes a bit of time since when you adjust the handle position, it can mess up the full travel, so you also need to adjust the cable ends, either or both at the mixture handle and at the fuel pump. Its all detailed in the Service Manual.

Haven’t completely thought this out, but would want to be sure spread is not indicative of pump output problem/failure mode or flow restriction issues.
