upgraded panel

I upgraded my panel as follows:
Had a 430 and upgraded to 530----it makes a huge difference.
Had a GTX 327 transponder and upgraded to 330 wihich gives traffic. This is the single best thing that I have ever done.
For $5500 it is one great deal.
Recently purchased the GDL 49-this is not a good deal, the time it takes to get next-rad is way to long.
Spoke with Garmin in OSH and they are looking at alternatives as we speak. I would not recommend.

HOW DID THE INSTALL GO FOR THE 530
STANDARD OR DOES THE 337 CAUSE ANY DIFFICULTIES?
HOW MUCH DID THE INSTALL COST?
DO YOU HAVE A PICTURE OF YOUR PANEL?

Wink 530 install

Had a 530, Garmin audio and transponder installed back in 2002. Had no problems getting 337. System is great. Would love to upgrade the transponder to the 330 for traffic. Maybe this winter I will do it.

Talking

Speaking as one that has had to assist on a few 336/337 installs, they really aren't that more difficult than any other airplane, just have to get used to the cramped working space. The plane is nowhere near as cramped as a Malibu.

Fly SAFE!
