Windshields and Windows

I am in the process of refurbish of the interior of my aircraft. Is this the time to replace glass if needed? How extensive is the process? Are the windshields more difficult than the side windows? Are there any restrictions to the tinted vs the clear that originally came in the aircraft? I still have my original glass from 1968, it is not all that bad but if I am going to go for a complete interior refurbish should I do the glass? I plan to paint down the road soon so should that be the time to do glass? I would think one would want to do it while the interior is disassemble.

Another good source of windshields for the 337 is Cee Bailys.
The side windows aren't a big deal to replace. The windshield is a major pain in the ass. Windshields need to be trimmed and fitted. A lot of care must be taken while trimming and drilling the screw holes. Finally refitting the outer trim strips takes patience. I replaced my windshield about a year and half ago, working by myself it was about a 3 day job. |

Cee Bailey does not list 337 on their web site. Do you have to call them?
