ohio 337

Does anyone know any 337 owners around Cincinnati? I have seen a couple, one being a riley at Clermont (I69) and a one at Lunken (KLUK). I am interested in talking to them about their experiences and would like to partner with one. Thanks

I was wondering about your user name or "handle", until I noticed your occupation.

I'm in Akron, and know of 1-2 others in NE Ohio.
None in Columbus that I'm aware of.
Your screen name makes me a bit reluctant to fly with you! Ha

I can control myself most of the time, depends on my diet and the duration of the flight! If you have read my other posting, you will see that I am anxious to meet a 337 driver and take a flight to see how I like it. I have an opportunity to go partners in one but don't really know what to expect out of one. The idea of safety is the main factor, but comfort is important as well. Not much luck as yet getting hold of a flying 337 down here in cincinnati. Still looking. Thanks, Dan

As for comfort, I'm 6'3" and 270 lbs, I fit quite nicely, and have flown 6-8 hour trips without difficulty. If you're in Akron let me know.

Same here... 6'1" 260 - Spent 6 hours going to florida keys from Iowa - 8 coming back.... very comfortable.... All the benefits of a twin, with out the nasty drawbacks of VMC if you lose an engine... 5 out of 6 Anesthesiologist recommend using a 337!

If Bernard Draeger were still alive - he would be flying one too!!
