I have replaced all hardware with new whenever it was removed, all grommets replaced. The lord mounts on the front mufflers and front cowl flaps are new. Much of the wiring has been replaced

New front and rear voltage regulators

+ spare parts, original front door, extra parts from another 337.

My wife was diagnosed with Lupis last week after a year of ongoing health problems. I was building this 337 to take the family on trips but this diagnosis will mean my time will be spent with my wife and little ones at home. I am just looking for something to poke holes in the sky.

I know I have way too much money in this bird and I won't recover it. (That wasn't the original plan!). I built this to be safe for my family. Everything was done right.

the interior is currently out for annual so the aircraft could be inspected in detail

The aircraft will need a rear fuel pump $800 and the avionics wiring completed. If you are interested I will pay for the IA to finish the work. He recommended new engine fuel hoses at the next annual. I will also pay for a couple months of additional hangaring.

252-382-1884

If someone is interested in the engines, I would sell them firewall forward for $15000 each including props and all sensors for the EDM system. If I can sell both engines I will part the rest of the aircraft.

I would rather see this bird fly.

Approximate investment figures

Honestly I have absolutely no idea! I knew going in that I was going to invest more than it was worth because I had no plans to sell it. Let me list approximately what I have in her:

Original purchase price: 35,000
New rear muffler: $1500
Additional serviceable muffler parts: $1000
Hi temp faa approved high temp exhaust hardware: $250
New control cables front/rear: $1000
New FM oil filter conversions:
New Aerospace logic digital fuel gauge-4 tank: $862
EI digital gauges:
Tachometers: $445 each-$900
MAP: $475 each-$950
Oil Pressure:$499 each-$1000
Ammeters: $335 each-$670
CHT/EGT: $350 each-$700

EDM 790 - $3400

New engine mounts: $160 each - $740
FM oil filter adapter: $400each-$800
New main tires: $350 each-$700
6 place leather: $6000
Custom water jet instrument panels-$500
Skybolt stainless cowl fasteners:$500
New rear baffling: $500

$57,000 in major parts and initial aircraft purchase.

$12,000 in IA labor. Plus I have him paid up through finishing the annual.

I also have spare exhaust parts, interior parts, four additional seats (pilot seat is power)

It will need a rear fuel pump $800, new fuel lines in a year-$600 per engine. $2000

The biggest thing is that I don't have any extra time or money to put into it with my wife's diagnosis. I have a set of $1000 jacks and a $250 hangar winch that I could throw in. The airplane has been hangared as well.

I never heard of a liberty - not sure what it is worth.
