Fuel Valve Leaking

I have a fuel selector valve leaking...more like sweating...from inbetween where the top half mates the bottom half. I looked in the parts manual but it shows "NP" for the gasket that is supposed to seal it up. NP means not procurable, and of course no part number associated with it.

Has anyone ever worked this problem before? Do you make your own gasket? RTV?

Thanks

Still have a sweating valve. Although, selecting the "OFF" position seems to stop it while on the ground. Any suggestions on what to use for a gasket?

Any one? Doesn't anyone know what is a good replacement part for the wing tank selector valve gasket?

Have you tried tightening the screws? I did that to one on our E model about 3 yrs. ago. Hasn't leaked since Knock on wood!!!

Yes, I tightened the screws as much as possible with a small thumb screw. But it is so tight in that area. Did you have to remove the valve to tighten it more?
