Hydraulics Overhaul

Hello All,

We are in South Africa and our AMO has informed us that our hydraulic pump and power pack are due for overhaul at the end of March based on a 10 year rule. I can't find any reference to this in the service bulletins - is anyone aware of it? We operate commercially.

The second part of the problem is that the price that we have been given for the overhaul is $15,000.

The part number is 1580002-1.

Thanks for any advise,
Hal.

July 2024:

Cox airparts will overhaul 9881200-1 ('77 G-model) powerpack for $4242 + parts with a 3-6 week lead time.

Power Packs Plus will exchange for $4975 (+ $10K qualifying core)

Aerospace Turbine Rotables says they've never heard of part number 9881200-1.

QAA in Tulsa say they cannot IRAN or OVHL.
