JB / Keith Air Duct Cleaning

I am still working on getting my P337H airworthy and today's project was cleaning up the Air-conditioning system. If you have one of these systems installed, as a heads up, one might want to get into the ducting and the blower box that has the evaporator in it. I believe mine was installed in 1985, I do not think anyone has looked in there since. The ducting and box on mine were totally black, I am assuming mold of some sort, as you can see from the pictures. A little dawn and elbow grease solved the problem.

I had the JB AC on my patrol 337 back in the '70s. Maintenance had to regularly clean the ductwork, at every maintenance interval, as our Gulf Coast environment kept it rather swampy.
