Interior Window Trim

Can anyone tell me where I can buy the rubber trim channel that fits between the interior windows and plastic frame trim?

Hi,

I believe you are looking for part number S2171-1. I replaced this back in June of 2009 on my 1973 G model. It appears the source I used may be gone now but I tracked down a few old emails and sent out an inquiry. I'll let you know in a day or two if a get any feedback.

I have attempted to attach a drawing of the rubber seal. This is what I used which appeared identical to what I replaced.

I'll keep you posted.

Ed

Looks like Yingling has it. I guess their price is per foot but not sure!

BK,

You're welcome. Hopefully Yingling works for you as I have not heard anything from the two other contacts I had from 2009.

Good Luck with the project. I replaced the seals around all the windows and it was a bigger job then I anticipated but it was worth the effort when it was all done. Since you're removing all the plastic anyway, throw a coat or two of spray paint on all of them. It's amazing what that did for the appearance of the interior. )

Take care,

Ed

window rubber trim on 73P

I'm renovating a 73 P model and wondering if anyone has a source for the rubber trim that goes between the plastic trim and the inside and outside windows.

Hi,

My postings above from December 2014 above are still my most current info on this. Any luck at Yingling? The part number above is accurate to the best of my knowledge.

Don,

Do you have new or used interior plastic trim for a 1974 G model?

Thank you,

BK
