02-A on Controller

Recently posted on Controller.com is a fully restored 02-A. It has approximately 8000 hours. Its appearance is quite nice, and they are asking $149,000. Any comments regarding if the aircraft would be worth such a price?

Thanks in advance for your opinions.

0-2 on Controller

To Cessna02337,

Thank you for the observation. I thought the aircraft looked great in the photos. Do you have an opinion on the effect of 8000 hrs?

Thanks again,

Jeff Nunan

WebMaster is on a distinguished road
Before it was released to the civilian market, it had to have the spar inspection done. Mine has 8000 + hours, I get the spar inspection done every 500 hours, and while it is hold your breath time, it's actually not a big deal.

Effect on the 8000 hour airframe time

With this specific aircraft, the 8000 hours is fine. The spar inspection (x-ray) has been complied with as well as ALL of the ADs and conformity to obtain a normal cat type certificate. Every wire, line, etc has been just about replaced on this aircraft. The amazing part is what he did with the interior and avionics. Just perfect in my book!
