Help with information

Guys

I have recently built a new home for my 337G, the final part of the construction are the bi-fold doors, and I need some assistance.

If any of you have a hangar with bi-fold doors fitted either straps or cables, can I ask you to take a photo of the drive motor and gearbox data plate for me.

Looking to see if I can get an equivalent down under, I have reached out to door manufactures, they are happy to provide one with new doors naturally, not sure shipping 50ftx18ft doors halfway around the globe is cost effective .

Any assistance greatly appreciated, send me a private message.

Many thanks
Dave

Check with Higher power doors in Benton Harbor Michigan, I love my hydraulic door from them.

Higher Power is the BEST design ever. No header required for the door support. All support is from the ground. Operation is great, fast, and easy

Dave,

My airport is building new T hangars with bifold doors. I got a ladder and took pics of door motor system.

Send me an email (learjetter@gmail.com) and I’ll email you the pics.

Too bad they are not using Higher power doors for the new build. No cables, no straps, header does not have to support any weight, higher open clearance, basically no maintenance, battery Back up and remote opening available.

The two larger multi-aircraft hangars appear to have higher power style doors, evidenced by the horizontal support lattice on the outer surface of the door. The t hangars are bifold.
