337A vs 337B

I’ve done a pretty extensive search on the forums trying to determine how similar the 337A and 337B is? I presume the engines were the same with most having a C on front and D on rear…unless the B model was ordered with a C on both front and rear. Regardless, that would make the engines and all engine accessories interchangeable, correct? (Starter, alternators, exhaust, mags, props, etc….) But curious how similar the airframe components are and other systems. Fuel pumps same? Hydraulic pumps same? Fuel senders same? Cowl flaps and motors? Actuators? Interior? Are they pretty much the same airplane aside from some minor changes? If so, what were those differences? Maybe asked another way, what parts from an A model would not be the same on a B model?

A little research in a parts catalog would go a long way into answering your questions. https://www.ebay.com/itm/193770527052
