Customs vs. Recalcitrant Passenger

I travel btwn Canada, US and bahamas. Never bothered using passport at ANY time although it has been avail for myself and all pax.

2 pieces ID, birth certificate and Driver's license (suffice for pix id). If they are a foreign national then u need a passport or proof of visa.

Things are no different since 9/11 for US or Can citizens. Others? maybe tighter.

You can always call ahead to customs and get confirmation (get name and badge number).

MOST IMPORTANT, make sure you call ahead using gate or canpass numbers and notify customs! ADCUS no longer Valid and you will get a customs warning if you violate this proceedure. This is where things have tightened up.

Just crossed yesterday at FPR and very routine.
