(Was part of thread on Shadin problems). I am looking into whether I can safely allow Word and Powerpoint files to be attached to messages...there are some potential issues with viruses and security.

Be careful about them, some people have had fits in their organizations with the Kezan virus. Fortunately, I have not had any users in my system.

What's "the Kezan virus?" It's not listed in either Symantec or McAfee virus database. Google also comes up with nothing relevant.

It's the Kriz, or Kriz 32
There is also a worm, called SPIDA
