Lookinng for non-pressurized 337 to buy

Looking for a good 337. I've already considered all those listed in trade a plane, controllers, etc, as well as those listed here. If you are considering a future sale of your 337 and it is not already listed here or in those other ads please contact me via PM. Thank you.

Robert

What's wrong with all the other planes you've looked at?

mshac,

Some are in Canada. Quite a few are pressurized and I can't afford the insurance or maintenance for these. I only "need"/want a good, basic 377 with either adequate IFR avionics or priced so that I can afford a modest panel upgrade; hard to fined I know. Robert

Roger S lost to the dark side

I think Robert is getting a beech baron.

He Couldn't find a 337 w/o high time engines, or very high price, or needing high cash outlay?

I propose we can still be friends, despite how much less we will think of him.

But, we’ll, .... A baron?

An MU2 maybe. Or Aerostar. Even a shrike commander or 500.

Those might at least offer a more “acceptable” step downs from a skymaster.

At least then we could remain civil.

But, we’ll, ....can I even sat it without offending dear reader? A...baron?

We just have to be willing to look past and willing to forgive Roberts obvious flaw.

Everyone should be forgiven at least one major error in their life.

I have offered him the tie down spot at Potomac between my skymaster and Tim C’s

But, as I reflect on this, is that being cruel?

To place his baron, standing adrift, between such glowing beauties?

I seek the wisdom of the group....

Baron is not a bad airplane. I have about 500 hours in them. I named one of my dogs Baron. I found that Beech tends to exaggerate Baron performance numbers just a bit. I love the easy entry of the 58 series, while the P-Baron and Turbo Baron (the one with Duke engines) are great performers, if very thirsty birds. Beech parts cost far more than Cessna parts, but the Baron is generally easier to work on than the Skymaster.

I bought the Skymaster for safety reasons, since I don't fly near as frequently as I once did. The critical thing is witha Baron is to stay sharp on your engine out scenarios, as you must with any conventional twin.

I would go back to a Baron if some amazing opportunity presented itself, but I'm mostly happy with my P337H. The times I'm not usually include when I need to carry six passengers, but only have five seats, and when older passengers are forced to climb over the middle seat to access the rear seat.
