Fuel Hose Source

Any recommendations on suppliers for fuel hoses for the rear and front engines? I have a couple of chafed fuel lines that I feel should be replaced. Wondering where to buy, cost vs. quality, with or without integral fire sleeve, etc.

When to replace engine compartment hoses?

Where can I find info on when all flexible hoses in the engine compartments MUST be replaced. All I can find are recommendations on when to replace those hoses, but I can't find anything directive.
Thanks!

There are some AD's for aircraft but I am not aware of any for the Skymaster. Typically the service manual suggests when engine is overhauled the hoses should be changed. Check the service manual.

Hoses are available with or without fire sleeve. Your mechanic should have sources and can buy the fire sleeve bulk to install on the hoses purchased.

hoses

I use Precision Hose Technologies (PHT), and have been very happy with them. I have also been happy with my Aviall hoses - both good sources.

For PHT, I just send them (with the a&p's help) hose length, and connection fitting sizes on both ends - they fan firesleeve, or not, as you desire. I firesleeve most of mine.

I have used PHT for all engine hoses, and in both compartments, as well as hydrualic system hoses.

Good luck,
Robert
