Pressurization Safety valve
1973 P337G
Anyone have experience with sticking safety valves? Cannot find any type of documentation on them in service manuals. If you have service manuals please contact me. Jim Bennon 304.482.7161 |

The safety valves can be cleaned with alcohol. You want to clean the mating surfaces. Carefully pull the cone/cup from inside the cabin away to access the seat to clean with the alcohol. Good luck

Actually have not had to worry about one as I haven't had one to worry about
I did talk to Craig at Griswold Aviation, Skymaster Top Service, and he has had them stick on other airplanes but not on any Skymaster's. He said that he has read in service manuals before about cleaning these units. I haven't looked in the P model SM because it is at home and I am down in Florida but I can look when I return Thursday

I have the SM service manuals and couldn't find anything on them--not saying its not there --just that I could not find anything.
