Just to pass on, I checked today but Mr. Bob Bena is no longer working on these cowl flap motors. I'm trying to get ahold of Matt @ MaxQComposites. I was looking at the manual conversion, but I few people have commented that they have had trouble keeping them completely closed.

Totally agree with checking the wiring at the micro switches. I had this happen. There are two switches per motor with three connections on each. If a wire comes off one of those switch terminals, don't remember which one, the sensor will not tell the motor to rotate to the closed position. Same of the closed to open position.
Grab a mirror and flash light and take a look. |
