![]() Our 337 is "Jackie", in tribute to Jacqueline "Jackie" Cochran.
The first woman: To enter the Bendix race, winning it and setting a transcontinental speed record. To fly a bomber across the Atlantic. To break the sound barrier. To land and take off from an aircraft carrier. To make an instrument landing. To fly a jet across the Atlantic. To be president of the Federation Aeronautique International (to date, the only woman). And the holder of more distance and speed records than any pilot, male or female, living or dead. An astonishing pilot. Also, I play a fretless electric bass named "Lula." Musical instruments are definitely feminine. |

Everything I ever wanted to know about a Skymaster but was afraid to ask
Can we please settle this before my annual is done so I can ensure I'm using the right IA for it?

Gender
Almost all are female. In the hanger, we have Cecelia Cessna (172) and her cousins Millicent, Melissa and Paul MxMaster.

Make or female?
I'm going to check down between the airplane's landing gear legs.
That should be conclusive.
